In the day, I work as a benefits assessor for a council and at night, I write content for TDL and for fun! Away from this, I’m often snuggling my dog (which he hates), shopping, drawing, working on my little side hustle or spending time with my family.
A couple of years ago, I was going through a bit of a bad patch. I was depressed, lonely and feeling pretty worthless. I had (still have) a never-ending bucket list and hardly any of the items ticked off. I knew I needed a change, so I started reading and taking courses on anything that would improve my mood and life.
With all the things I had learnt about myself and life in general, The Daring Life was born. I started using this blog as a kind of research base for becoming the best version of myself. More recently, TDL has now become the main base of tracking my bucket list progress and dishing out the lessons I learn along the way.
Although this is a lifestyle blog and most posts will be based on personal experiences, The Daring Life will also be an open space for advice, life lessons and living your best-ish life.
This is my space to be open and honest about my life – past, present and future. I talk a lot about personal experiences and hope that it inspires others to be open and authentic about their own lives.
With that being said, I’m not a qualified therapist or counsellor (maybe one day) so anything discussed on this blog is my opinion or in line with my own ethics and beliefs.
